Summary
- Permitted invoice formats are: Universal Business Language (UBL), Cross Industry Invoice (CII) and ZUGFeRD (XRechnung profile).
Since 29 June 2021, companies have been obliged to issue electronic invoices if they provide services for the public administration at state level.
