Webware Internet Solutions GmbH continues to actively support cross-border digitalisation in Europe by participating in two major European Union projects focused on eDelivery and electronic invoicing.
Webware participated in the UP-ACCESS project within the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) programme. The objective of the project was the implementation of the AS4 protocol and the modernization of the Service Metadata Publishers (SMPs) of four Peppol Access Points used by thousands of customers across the EU.
The developed solution complied with the requirements of Directive 2014/55/EU and enabled secure, standardized cross-border digital message exchange while reducing complexity and operational costs.
Webware Internet Solutions was a member of the EURINV consortium, which was co-funded under the CEF Telecom programme by the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA).
The project supported the implementation of the European standard for electronic invoicing (EN 16931) and Directive 2014/55/EU. As part of this effort, cloud-based e-invoicing platforms were enhanced to support the compliant UBL and CII syntaxes for interoperable cross-border invoicing within the EU and the EEA.
Through initiatives such as UP-ACCESS and EURINV, Webware Internet Solutions contributes to the advancement of secure, standardised and efficient digital document exchange in Europe, supporting the growing mandatory adoption of electronic invoicing across both public and private sectors.
