The Invoice Portal team would like to sincerely thank you for the trustful cooperation over the past year. Your confidence in us and your long-standing partnership are of great importance to us.
The past year was marked by further development, optimization, and structural changes. Our focus was primarily on the quality of our services, the stability of our processes, and the sustainable evolution of the Invoice Portal.
Some key developments over the past year:
Enhancement of the registration process
The registration process was structurally redesigned and transformed into a multi-step assistant consisting of six steps. This provides clearer guidance throughout the onboarding process and ensures that all relevant information is captured completely and correctly.
Digital contract conclusion directly in the portal
Contracts can now be concluded fully digitally and directly via the Invoice Portal – transparent, traceable, and without additional manual steps.
International focus and expansion
We are continuously expanding our international presence. Currently, we are working on connecting additional countries, in particular Poland and France, to provide you with reliable e-invoicing solutions across borders.
Domain change from .de to .com
As part of our international orientation, we have migrated from a .de domain to a .com domain. This reflects our growing international customer base and creates a unified, future-oriented platform.
Security, compliance, and system availability
We continuously implemented measures to further strengthen security, regulatory compliance, as well as the availability and reliability of our systems.
Infrastructure scaling
Our technical infrastructure was further expanded to meet increasing demands and a growing user base.
Outlook for the coming year
Further functional and geographical expansions of the Invoice Portal are planned for the coming year as well.
Proven features and continuous optimization
Your feedback is especially valuable to us. The opinions, suggestions, and ideas of our customers actively contribute to the ongoing development of the Invoice Portal and help us continuously improve the quality of our services.
We look forward to continuing to grow together with you in the coming year and to actively shaping the future of electronic invoicing.
We wish you and your loved ones a peaceful Christmas season, relaxing holidays, and a successful start to the New Year.
Kind regards
Your Invoice Portal Team

/in eInvoice NewsE-invoice decisions of the Ministry of Finance from 15/10/2024
/in eInvoice NewsInvoice transmission: The contracting parties must agree between themselves under civil law which permissible electronic invoice format and which permissible transmission channel is to be used.
Receipt channels: An e-mail inbox is sufficient for the legally compliant receipt of electronic invoices. Alternatively, interfaces or portals are also permitted.
In the long term, the transmission channels will be reviewed as part of the VIDA implementation, with more specific requirements being defined if necessary.
Sanctions: From the start of the obligation (2027 or 2028), ‘other invoices’ (e.g. paper or PDF) will no longer be eligible for input tax deduction. Additional penalties for refusing to accept an e-invoice are currently not envisaged. However, if the recipient refuses to accept the e-invoice even though the sender has demonstrably endeavoured to transmit it correctly, the recipient will be in default.
