Mandatory e-invoicing in force from 1 January 2022
The new RLP E-Invoicing Ordinance (ERechVORP) has been in force since 11 January 2024.
Summary
Companies in Rhineland-Palatinate that receive public contracts or concessions will be obliged to issue invoices electronically from 1 April 2025.
Permitted invoice formats are: Universal Business Language (UBL), Cross Industry Invoice (CII) and ZUGFeRD (Profile XRechnung)
